Refund & Returns Policy

At McRelish, we are committed to delivering high-quality, safe, and delicious African meals. This policy outlines our conditions for refunds, replacements, or credits.

1 Daily Food Hub Orders

Meals are prepared fresh daily for pickup within designated hub operating hours. Refunds or replacements are considered only if:

  • The meal is received in an unsatisfactory condition (e.g., spoiled or contaminated)
  • There is a mistake in the order that is the responsibility of McRelish

Requests must be submitted within 2 hours of pickup, including proof of the issue (photo or description). Refunds are issued as store credit or replacement meal.

2 Bulk Home Orders

Bulk orders are prepared for families, weekend meals, or small gatherings. Refunds or replacements are considered only for:

  • Meals that are spoiled, unsafe, or not prepared according to the confirmed order

Cancellations must be made 4 hours prior to the scheduled delivery for a full or partial refund. Refunds may be partial if preparation or delivery has already commenced.

3 Food Boxes (Gifts)

Due to perishability, refunds or cancellations are accepted only 24 hours prior to scheduled delivery. Issues with delivered boxes must be reported within 2 hours of receipt.

McRelish may offer replacement or store credit depending on the situation (e.g., damaged packaging, missing items).

4 Catering Services

Catering orders require confirmed quotations and advance preparation. Cancellations or modifications must be made as outlined in the booking confirmation.

Refunds may be partial or withheld if preparation or procurement costs have already been incurred.

5 Conditions Not Covered

Refunds will not be provided for:

  • Customer dissatisfaction due to personal preference (e.g., spice level, flavor)
  • Late consumption or storage issues after delivery or pickup
  • Orders made incorrectly due to inaccurate information provided by the customer

6 How to Request a Refund

  • Provide order details and receipt/confirmation number
  • Include photographic evidence or clear description of issue

McRelish will review the request and respond within 24 hours.
